Method 1: Reinstall the Arlo App

The ultimate solution of the Arlo unable to find the app is to reinstall the Arlo Security Camera. Here are the steps to reinstall the app on Android and iOS devices:

Android

  • Open the Google Play Store from your Android device.

  • After that, look for the Arlo app. Once you find it, tap on it.

  • Once the Arlo web page opens then click on the Uninstall button.

  • Now, you have to wait for some time until the uninstallation is completed.

  • Click on the install button to install the Arlo app again.


iOS Devices

  • Search for the Arlo app on the App Store on your iPhone.

  • After that, long press the app until you see it on your screen.

  • Click on the “x” button.

  • Launch the App Store and download the Arlo app on your device.

  • Next, connect the Arlo app to the base station.


Method 2: Sync Camera to Base Station

  • Ensure that your Camera is within the proximity range of the base station i.e. between 1 to 3 feet approximately.

  • After that, press and hold the Sync button on the base station for 2 seconds and then release the button.

  • Now, you have to wait for some time until the sync status LED turns to light green.

  • Next, press and hold the Sync button on your Camera for about 2-3 seconds and then release the button.

  • The LED light on the camera will start blinking slowly. Once the blink light goes rapidly then the sync is confirmed.


Method 3: Reset the Base Station

  • Take a paperclip or pin.

  • Ensure that the Arlo base station is turned on.

  • After that, take a paperclip and press the reset button on your device for about 10 seconds.

  • When the reset is completed then you will see that the LED light on the Arlo base station will start flashing amber. It indicates that the base station is rebooting.

  • Once the power and internet LED light turns green then launch the Arlo app and login into your account.

  • Click on the new system setup button and follow instructions displayed on your screen.
